1) Garlic
If you're using raw cloves of garlic, make sure they're peeled first and that you don't bite into them whole. 2) Turmeric tea- Boil 1 cup of water and add 1⁄2 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Drink this before breakfast on an empty stomach.
3) Turmeric soup- Cook 3 tablespoons of chopped onions, 1 teaspoon each of cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and ground pepper in 4 tablespoons of olive oil until golden brown. Add 4 cups broth or water and simmer until soft. Then add 1/2 teaspoon of each freshly grated ginger root, turmeric powder, and cinnamon stick.
4) Vitamin C
The best way to get rid of a cold is by drinking plenty of fluids, eating well, and getting enough rest. Vitamin C also helps boost your immune system. You can also take vitamin C supplements or citrus fruits for their vitamin C content.
Drinking hot tea with honey is another good idea because it will help soothe your sore throat while providing you with some much-needed fluids. Chamomile tea has long been used as an herbal remedy and has antibacterial properties.
5) Olive leaf extract
Start by taking one dropper ful of olive leaf extract three times per day until you are feeling better. If you want, you can also add some cinnamon to your tea. The antioxidants found in cinnamon may stimulate immune system cells, which can assist in fighting off the virus.
Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that will help soothe your sore throat and reduce fever, as well as vitamin C which will boost your immune system’s ability to fight off any cold symptoms that remain after using this treatment.
